Beautiful Headband by Little Sunshine Designs!

I LOVE HAIR DECOR!!!
As a matter of fact, some hair barrettes were the very first review I ever had for my blogsite!

Little Sunshine Design sent me an absolutely BEAUTIFUL hair band to review for Christmas this year!  The hair band looks as if it were designed by an artist.  This is not your average piece of ribbon that has been hot glued around a piece of plastic.  This hair band consists of soft elastic, faux pearls, a feather, and a flower!  Take a look at this gorgeous hair band on my daughter!

I really love all of Little Sunshine Design's hair pieces, because there is something to go with EVERYTHING!  Her pieces range fron dainty to attention grabbing, and all look to be made with care!

Look at some of these pieces on her site!

Custom Fingerless Gloves by Mott Crochet GIfts!

I love the winter. I love the smell of cold weather, the logs on the fire, the hot cocoa with family, and the stars shining through the bare trees.

What I DON'T like however, is how freezing cold I always stay throughout the winter!

Thanks to Jen at Mott Chrochet Gifts, my hands are toasty warm this season!

She sent me these amazingly beautiful fingerless gloves.

They are black (which matches positively EVERYTHING in my closet!), and they are not scratchy, but just snuggly! I get comments and compliments on them everywhere I go! I went Christmas shopping this year for my mother and father in Eddie Bauer. I bought my mother some of these exact gloves for $30, but Mott Crochet sells them for a fraction of that!

Stop by her shop and check it out! She sells out of her inventory instantly, so you might have to go into the SOLD items to view her work!

She is offering one reader of Mingle Over Mocha a $10 gift certificate to her store! You will soon be styling in your OWN fingerless gloves!

Zehn Naturals T-Shirts!

As a stay at home mom of 4 active kiddos, you will usually find me in comfy yoga pants, tennis shoes and a t-shirt.  But, I have to say, I'm a bit of a t-shirt snob, if there is such thing.

I can not wear stiff t-shirts.  They make me insane.  I have to have room to move, and I like them to feel like they aren't really even there.  We have too much to do during the day to be wearing a t-shirt that doesn't allow you to move, right moms??

Well, I have found the PERFECT solution to your t-shirt woes.

Zehn Naturals has some of the comfiest t-shirts I have EVER worn!  Their women's t-shirt designs are adorable, and there is certainly something for everyone with their wide selection!

I was given these two t-shirts for my review:
(How adorable are the owls??)
and...
I am a sucker for pink and brown.  I love the color combo!

Zehn Naturals t-shirts are made with 100% certified organic cotton!
From the Zehn Naturals website:
"What does “organic” mean?
“Simply stated, organic produce and other ingredients (i.e. cotton) are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation. Animals that produce meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products do not take antibiotics or growth hormones.”(www.organic.com)"
So, there is no worry about what kinds of materials you might be exposing yourself to.  They also print their images with earth-friendly inks!
Zehn Naturals goes above and beyond selling amazing t-shirts with earth friendly, organic materials.  They also plant a tree every time one of their t-shirts are purchased!  AND, they give 10% of your purchase to non-profit organizations!!  Can you say that about any company you have done business with lately??

April is Help Earth Conservation Month!  10% Of All “Organic Globe Tee” sales in the month of April will be donated to a CSA Scholarship for Tracie’s Community Farm of Fitzwilliam, NH!  Click HERE for details.

Another thing I love about the Zehn Naturals t-shirts- the tag that comes on them!  The tags are made of seed paper, and you can plant them!  They contain wildflower seeds that attract and nurture endangered honey bees.

I am so impressed with how much this company is giving back!  I would love for all of my readers to support their efforts!  They are offering Mingle Over Mocha readers a discount to their store, with the code blog25!

Kidz Gear Headphones!

I admit it.  I was one of those moms who thought TVs in the car were HORRIBLE.  I thought, "I use the time in the car to talk with my kids, and spend extra time with them!"  Well, now that I stay home with them and homeschool my children, they are HAPPY for the car ride breaks!  They play DS or watch movies in our car every time we go somewhere!

One problem I have with our car headsets are that they never, ever, EVER stay on my youngest child's head.  She is always complaining and getting frustrated, because they are constantly sliding down.

SO... you can imagine my sheer bliss when Kidz Gear offered me some of their kids' headphones to try out!  I am very happy to report that these headphones are 100% kid-friendly, which makes our car rides 100% mom-happy!  :)

I wanted you to hear a child's opinion on them as well, so here is my 9 year old, Courtney, to tell you her opinion of them (just after she opened them for the first time):

These headphones have smaller ear pads, smaller head bands, and are fully adjustable.  They are very comfortable on kids' ears, and they absolutely do not slip off!  Their sound is great, they are affordable, have great functionality, and have a 100% compatibility guarantee on all built-tin US DVD/Video systems!  Kidz Gear also shipped these headphones to me very quickly, and their customer service was superb.

I aboslutely recommend these headphones to anyone with kids who makes frequent trips in the car.

Kidz Gear also allowed me to review their wired headphones!  They fit into my kids' Nintendo DS systems perfectly, and provide the same great functionality, comfort and sound that the wireless headphones offer!

Would you LOVE to win a pair of either wired or wireless headphones from Kidz Gear?

KAPONGA!

I am a bit of a "naturals" nut.  I have 4 children that eat organic as often as possible.  I don't eat much sugar, I don't drink anything with chemicals in it, and I love 100% natural, organic clothing!  Chemical scents bother me, and many perfumes do as well.  I have found a company that makes their lotions and perfumes with 100% organic ingredients!

The Kaponga Cream Perfume Company
This is from the Kaponga website:  "100% Healthy Natural And Organic Ingredients. No Harsh Chemicals. No Animal Testing. Effective And Safe. We Use Only Premium French-Made Perfumes From The Fragrance Capital Of The World, Grasse."  ALL NATURAL AND ORGANIC!!!!

I reviewed their Ylang Ylang d'amore, Organic Vanilla reve and Melon d'eau Creme Perfumes.  These little pots of perfume are amazing!  By simply rubbing your finger across the creme perfume (which feels almost like a lipgloss), and smearing a tiny amount across your wrists, the scent will stay with you all day!  They feel great, and are not irritating at all to the skin (I am allergic to EVERYTHING!!! ...but not these!).  Ylang Yland d'amore is my favorite, as it has a crisp, fresh scent!  These perfumes come in a wooden container that look like the bottom of a nut.  ADORABLE, and the PERFECT gift!

I also reviewed the folllowing lotions:
Coconut Body Moisturizer, Lavendar Body Moisturizer and Rose Body Moisturizer

I absolutely LOVE these lotions.  They are so creamy, yet they absorb very easily so they don't make your clothes greasy!  They are scented very well- you can certainly smell the perfumes in them, but they are not overpowering!

This is written under the Lavendar lotion on the Kaponga website:

"Premium and naturally derived oils and extracts from nature combined with premium French certified organic essential oils to combat dehydrated, sore, inflamed and damaged skin."

These lotions and perfumes retail for $12-$14 on their website.
One lucky reader will win a set of Kaponga products by entering below!

Baby Banz!

My girls LOVE wearing sunglasses.  They love the way they look in them, and I love their eyes being protected!  Baby Banz are BY FAR my favorite child's sunglasses.  They are incredibly well made.  I found no cheap parts, and great functionality in the Junior Banz (the bigger kid version of Baby Banz) we tried.
My favorite things about Baby Banz are:

  • The fit!  One problem with sunglasses for children is that they are either too tight, or they don't fit their heads well, and slide off constantly!  NOT Baby Banz!  They are engineered to grip your child's head just right, but without putting too much pressure on them.

  • They offer great protection, but without the discomfort or glare of other glasses we've tried!  I've taken plenty of pictures of my daughter in her Junior Banz, and you can see no glare in the pictures (like the one below with her MeMe)!

  • The designs they offer are GORGEOUS!  You will certainly find the perfect look for your little one!

  • They offer products for every age in your family!

  • They come with a great protective case that your child can hook onto their jeans, their purse, their backpack... and keep their Baby Banz safe!

  • They are very well made, yet affordable!

  • They have 100% UV Protective lenses!!!
I can not think of a negative thing to say about the company or their products!
Baby Banz is offering a pair of their glasses to one of my lucky readers!

Magnogrip!

Magnogrip!
Depending on how long you have been following my blog, you might know that I love to try my hand at pretty much everything.  I have built plenty of things around the house.  I've also been banned from my husband's tools multiple times when I almost cut off an apendage.  But, the good news is, I haven't lost a limb yet, and currently the tool ban is lifted.  Because of my "do whatever works" attitude when using tools, anything that can make a project EASIER is a favorite tool of mine!

And that's why I love Magnogrip!
This pouch is SO roomy- you can easily fit multiple tools in here!  And the large magnetized front is perfect for holding those little nails or screws you will be needing right away!  The entire bag clips easily onto your waistband or belt for easy access!

Whether or not you are a builder, everyone can appreciate how frustrating it is to drop a nail you are using OVER and OVEr again.  I was recently hanging a picture above my baby girl's bed.  We only had one nail in the size I needed.  But everytime I tapped it withe the hammer, it fell behind my daughter's bed!  I could not hold onto the nail for anything!  After crawling behing her bed 5 times to retrieve the nail, I remember wishing I was covered in magnets, so I would stop dropping it!
Well, that is actually a possibility with Magnogrip!
I love this little wristband, which literally keeps everything at your fingertips!

This smaller belt clip is the perfect solution to freeing up your arms and allowing you to carry just what you need.  It is small, but has a super powerful magnet!

There is even this adorable Ladies Magnogrip Wristband in pink!!

Chris Grundy of DIY's "Cool Tools" speaks about the Magnogrip Tools here:

Magnogrip is giving away one Magnogrip Magnetic Wristband!  This is the perfect gift for a do-it-yourselfer, or even a professional builder!

Would you love to win one??

THINK GUM!

I was given the opportunity to try the most AMAZING gum I have ever tasted. And this gum, unlike every other gum I have loved the taste of, is healthy for you!!!

As seen at Stanford's Cool Product Expo 2009...
Introducing...

The makers of Think Gum sent me three packs to try out, and pass around. Everyone I gave it to asked me to email them the company name, so they could order it for themselves! All 4 of my children LOVED it. They ask for it constantly. And I am SO happy to finally have some wonderful tasting gum that is actually good for you! I just ordered 12 packs of it this morning.

I am a gum chewer. I have been for as long as I can remember. I used to chew Extra all the time, because it lasts so long. However, I was diagnosed in 1998 with having a VERY severe allergy to Aspartame. Years of drinking Diet Coke and chewing Extra really had horrible effects on my body. So now, I am as healthy as ever, because I stay FAR away from Aspartame. But, it is every hard to find a good gum that doesn't have Aspartame in it. Until now!

Not only does Think Gum seem to almost last all day long, but it is GOOD FOR YOU!

This is an excerpt from their website, telling how Think Gum works!

"Think Gum takes advantage of proven brain-boosting herbs and herbal extracts, potent antioxidants, the principles of aromatherapy, the stimulant qualities of naturally occurring caffeine, breakthroughs in memory research, and the physical properties of chewing gum itself. In short, Think Gum enhances mental performance."

CLICK HERE to read how the ingredients in Think Gum work together to help your brain power!

And this is their list of ingredients in Think Gum:

"Vinpocetine, Bacopa, Ginkgo Biloba, Guarana, Rosemary and Peppermint. All six herbal additives work together to improve cognitive function in healthy individuals. Each is safe and effective and approved as a dietary supplement by the FDA."

I would love for each of you to visit the Think Gum site, and place an order for Think Gum! A 12-piece pack is just $1.99, and take it from someone who knows- it is worth every penny to stay away from Aspartame! It is so easy to order- use a card online, or pay by PalPal! This gum is great tasting, good for you, and enhances your mental performance. How could you go wrong?

Also, stay tuned, I have some great products that I will be reviewing soon!

Conceptual Math Media

CONCEPTUAL MATH!! Most of you know that I homeschool my 4 children. Math is one of the most important subjects, in my mind. We all use math on a daily baiss, no matter what we are doing! My kids take part in each aspect of our day- from cooking, to shopping, to budgeting... because it helps them hone their math skills! When I come across a game or enrichment activity that makes their learning even more fun, I am thrilled!
I am absolutely ecstatic over the company Conceptual Math Media, because they have taken very important math principles, and created fun games that help to teach the concepts!
They are an AWARD WINNING company, with accolades from such groups as Dr. Toy, Parents Choice, 100 Best Childrens products of 1998, 10 Best Games of 1998, San Francisco Chronicle, Games Magazine, and Family Review Center!!!
Conceptual Math Media says, "Conceptual Math Media, Inc., is dedicated to the design and production of math games and math educational products that promote thinking. We want to make math fun for both the classroom and family. Our mission is to change the negative attitudes about math and eliminate the fear and ignorance of math that are so prevalent in our society."
Conceptual Math Media sent me two games to review:

"Have fun creating equations crossword style! Equate is a great math board game for family and classroom. Earn higher scores using division or fraction tiles and landing on premium board positions. For 2 to 4 players or teams. Many levels of play for ages 8 to adult."

"Six calling options make these math bingo games a great bargain! The caller chooses one of six options for calling a value. The options maximize flexibility by covering numerous topics. Each game includes 36 playing cards, 360 plastic markers, and over 50 calling cards. Also contains reproducible masters to help teachers assess the students and customize the game. Several versions available."
My kids truly love playing board games! When we are learning in the process, I don't feel the need to cut our playing time short so we can get back to our formal school subjects! Conceptual Math Media has allowed our family to enjoy some laid-back family time while working on our daily math.
I am giving away one Equate, and one Conceptual Bingo to a lucky reader of Mingle Over Mocha!

TINY TONGS!

Tiny Tongs have changed mealtimes for babies!!

I have four children, and I well remember how a spoon, in the hands of a baby, turns into a giant shovel with which to make the morsels on their plate airborn!!

And I also remember how many times they would attempt to use a fork, and poke their gums or lips with it. That's a quick way to ruin their mealtime!

But Tiny Tongs are child sized, tweezer-like eating utensils, which make it easy for a baby to pick up a small amount of food! They can't pick up too much with Tiny Tongs, which will help to ensure they don't choke on a too-big bite.

Watch this video from the Tiny Tongs site!

The Slanket

As I write this review, I am in Tennessee visiting my parents, watching it snow outside! This is a PERFECT night for my SLANKET!!

I love the Slanket story!! Check this out:

"One subzero night in 1998 during my first semester of college I could not escape Maine's winter bite. While watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien I decided I needed to tear a hole in my sleeping bag so I could keep my upper body warm as I channel surfed during the commercial breaks. During Christmas vacation I commissioned the first Slanket to be made by my mother...and it was born.Everyone behind the The Slanket is on the same level when it comes to life. Besides creating a product to make people comfortable and warm, our life goals are not to accumulate mansions, SUV's, expensive watches and closets just for shoes. What we want in life is to travel the world and experience all its cultures while representing humanity positively. Whether surfing in Costa Rica, snowboarding in Austria, or studying language in South America and China, we love to spread our sleeves and let them flap in the wind, giving back in the process. BUT... there is nothing like coming home, wrapping up in THE SLANKET on your own couch and feeling the warmth of your friends and family."

The Slanket Company was kind enough to send me the Ruby Red Slanket to review!

I cannot tell you how amazingly comfy this Slaket is! It is 100% Polyester Microfibers, so it is VERY soft and warm! And it is plenty long enough to cover your toes, with some to spare!

As a matter of fact, when I am wearing my Slanket, my daughters AND my Chihuahua want to snuggle in with me!

And The Slanket comes in many different varieties! Click here to compare the Slanket with the Kids Slanket, The Travel Slanket, and The Siamese Slanket!
The Slanket Company is offering one lucky reader of Mingle Over Mocha a Slanket of their own!

ZEVRO!!!

These products are an absolute favorite of my entire family!
The Zevro family of products helps the modern day family stay organized for life!
Zevro products include:
  • Indispensible Dispenser Series
  • Coffee and Tea Accessories
  • Spice Accessories
  • Bar Accessories
  • Perfetto Pasta Cooker
  • And MORE!!

I think this spice rack is amazing!!

I struggle with finding the best way to store my spices, yet keep them handy for cooking! The magnetic spice rack will keep your counter clutter-free, yet keep all your favorite spices within reach!

And their Vac n' Save Storage Containers will not only provide convenient storage solutions for your home, but will also help to save your family money! Are you aware that the average American family throws away $590 in groceries per year? If you were able to save your food in containers that didn't allow it to perish, you could pocket almost $50 extra per month!

The Vac n' Save gets the extra air out of the storage containers, keeping the food fresh for a much longer period of time! They come with an air pump which pulls the air away from your foods!Zevro was kind enough to send me a dry food dispenser to review! I love this dispenser for cereal. With 4 children, we go through cereal like water!! These dispensers hold about 17.5 ounces of dry foods! Each turn releases about 1 ounce of food. This is also helpful to those on a diet, or children who must control their portions! The dispensers keep food fresh for 45 days. They are perfect for cereal, nuts, candies, trail mix, and more!

Click on the image below to view all of Zevro's wonderful dispensers!

Thanks to the great people at Zevro, I am giving away THREE cereal/dry food dispensers!

Bella Sara Cards!!! - ended! Congrats Joe and Bridge!

I was first introduced to Bella Sara by my good friend Courtney at One Bored Mommy! Ever since we got our first pack of Bella Sara cards, my daughter has been 100% head over heels for them!
