KING CAKE!

My fun friend from UT, Daren, lives in New Orleans, and sent us this cool King Cake for Mardi Gras! The kids were chomping at the bit to open the box!

It was such a cool package- it came with magazines about New Orleans and the Mardi Gras tradition, a mini-poster, a CD of some Mardi Gras music, some really cool Mardi Gras beads, a cup from the bakery that made the cake, and a HUGE King Cake!

The enclosed card read, "your kids will be bouncing off the walls after eating this..."
