Kidz Gear Headphones!

I admit it.  I was one of those moms who thought TVs in the car were HORRIBLE.  I thought, "I use the time in the car to talk with my kids, and spend extra time with them!"  Well, now that I stay home with them and homeschool my children, they are HAPPY for the car ride breaks!  They play DS or watch movies in our car every time we go somewhere!

One problem I have with our car headsets are that they never, ever, EVER stay on my youngest child's head.  She is always complaining and getting frustrated, because they are constantly sliding down.

SO... you can imagine my sheer bliss when Kidz Gear offered me some of their kids' headphones to try out!  I am very happy to report that these headphones are 100% kid-friendly, which makes our car rides 100% mom-happy!  :)

I wanted you to hear a child's opinion on them as well, so here is my 9 year old, Courtney, to tell you her opinion of them (just after she opened them for the first time):

These headphones have smaller ear pads, smaller head bands, and are fully adjustable.  They are very comfortable on kids' ears, and they absolutely do not slip off!  Their sound is great, they are affordable, have great functionality, and have a 100% compatibility guarantee on all built-tin US DVD/Video systems!  Kidz Gear also shipped these headphones to me very quickly, and their customer service was superb.

I aboslutely recommend these headphones to anyone with kids who makes frequent trips in the car.

Kidz Gear also allowed me to review their wired headphones!  They fit into my kids' Nintendo DS systems perfectly, and provide the same great functionality, comfort and sound that the wireless headphones offer!

Would you LOVE to win a pair of either wired or wireless headphones from Kidz Gear?

KAPONGA!

I am a bit of a "naturals" nut.  I have 4 children that eat organic as often as possible.  I don't eat much sugar, I don't drink anything with chemicals in it, and I love 100% natural, organic clothing!  Chemical scents bother me, and many perfumes do as well.  I have found a company that makes their lotions and perfumes with 100% organic ingredients!

The Kaponga Cream Perfume Company
This is from the Kaponga website:  "100% Healthy Natural And Organic Ingredients. No Harsh Chemicals. No Animal Testing. Effective And Safe. We Use Only Premium French-Made Perfumes From The Fragrance Capital Of The World, Grasse."  ALL NATURAL AND ORGANIC!!!!

I reviewed their Ylang Ylang d'amore, Organic Vanilla reve and Melon d'eau Creme Perfumes.  These little pots of perfume are amazing!  By simply rubbing your finger across the creme perfume (which feels almost like a lipgloss), and smearing a tiny amount across your wrists, the scent will stay with you all day!  They feel great, and are not irritating at all to the skin (I am allergic to EVERYTHING!!! ...but not these!).  Ylang Yland d'amore is my favorite, as it has a crisp, fresh scent!  These perfumes come in a wooden container that look like the bottom of a nut.  ADORABLE, and the PERFECT gift!

I also reviewed the folllowing lotions:
Coconut Body Moisturizer, Lavendar Body Moisturizer and Rose Body Moisturizer

I absolutely LOVE these lotions.  They are so creamy, yet they absorb very easily so they don't make your clothes greasy!  They are scented very well- you can certainly smell the perfumes in them, but they are not overpowering!

This is written under the Lavendar lotion on the Kaponga website:

"Premium and naturally derived oils and extracts from nature combined with premium French certified organic essential oils to combat dehydrated, sore, inflamed and damaged skin."

These lotions and perfumes retail for $12-$14 on their website.

Baby Banz!

My girls LOVE wearing sunglasses.  They love the way they look in them, and I love their eyes being protected!  Baby Banz are BY FAR my favorite child's sunglasses.  They are incredibly well made.  I found no cheap parts, and great functionality in the Junior Banz (the bigger kid version of Baby Banz) we tried.
My favorite things about Baby Banz are:

  • The fit!  One problem with sunglasses for children is that they are either too tight, or they don't fit their heads well, and slide off constantly!  NOT Baby Banz!  They are engineered to grip your child's head just right, but without putting too much pressure on them.

  • They offer great protection, but without the discomfort or glare of other glasses we've tried!  I've taken plenty of pictures of my daughter in her Junior Banz, and you can see no glare in the pictures (like the one below with her MeMe)!

  • The designs they offer are GORGEOUS!  You will certainly find the perfect look for your little one!

  • They offer products for every age in your family!

  • They come with a great protective case that your child can hook onto their jeans, their purse, their backpack... and keep their Baby Banz safe!

  • They are very well made, yet affordable!

  • They have 100% UV Protective lenses!!!
I can not think of a negative thing to say about the company or their products!
Baby Banz is offering a pair of their glasses to one of my lucky readers!

Magnogrip!

Magnogrip!
Depending on how long you have been following my blog, you might know that I love to try my hand at pretty much everything.  I have built plenty of things around the house.  I've also been banned from my husband's tools multiple times when I almost cut off an apendage.  But, the good news is, I haven't lost a limb yet, and currently the tool ban is lifted.  Because of my "do whatever works" attitude when using tools, anything that can make a project EASIER is a favorite tool of mine!

And that's why I love Magnogrip!
This pouch is SO roomy- you can easily fit multiple tools in here!  And the large magnetized front is perfect for holding those little nails or screws you will be needing right away!  The entire bag clips easily onto your waistband or belt for easy access!

Whether or not you are a builder, everyone can appreciate how frustrating it is to drop a nail you are using OVER and OVEr again.  I was recently hanging a picture above my baby girl's bed.  We only had one nail in the size I needed.  But everytime I tapped it withe the hammer, it fell behind my daughter's bed!  I could not hold onto the nail for anything!  After crawling behing her bed 5 times to retrieve the nail, I remember wishing I was covered in magnets, so I would stop dropping it!
Well, that is actually a possibility with Magnogrip!
I love this little wristband, which literally keeps everything at your fingertips!

This smaller belt clip is the perfect solution to freeing up your arms and allowing you to carry just what you need.  It is small, but has a super powerful magnet!

There is even this adorable Ladies Magnogrip Wristband in pink!!

Chris Grundy of DIY's "Cool Tools" speaks about the Magnogrip Tools here:

Magnogrip is giving away one Magnogrip Magnetic Wristband!  This is the perfect gift for a do-it-yourselfer, or even a professional builder!

Would you love to win one??
